OUR SAFETY PROMISE

Game websites have a deserved reputation problem: fake download buttons, popups that hijack your browser, ads disguised as games, and "free games" that want an account, an app install, or worse. GameMyself exists to be the opposite of that. Here is exactly what we promise, in plain language.

Nothing to download, ever

Every game on this site runs directly in your browser using standard HTML5 — the same technology as any ordinary web page. There are no installers, no plugins, no app prompts, and no files to run. Your browser's built-in sandbox means a web game cannot install software or access your files, and we never ask you to step outside it.

No fake buttons, no popups, no redirects

There is exactly one way to start a game here: press play. You will never see a counterfeit "DOWNLOAD NOW" button, a popup window, an autoplaying video with sound, or a redirect to another site. Ads on this site are clearly labelled, live in fixed slots beside the game, and never overlap or interrupt play.

No accounts, and your scores stay on your device

We don't have accounts, logins, or email signups, so there is no password to leak and no profile to build. High scores are saved in your own browser's local storage and never transmitted anywhere.

Every game is built in-house and human-readable

We don't embed games from third parties, so nothing on this site runs code we didn't write ourselves. Every game is plain, unobfuscated JavaScript — if you're technical (or your IT department is), right-click, View Source, and read exactly what it does. We consider that the strongest safety guarantee a game site can offer: don't trust us, verify us.

Honest about advertising

This site is free and keeps the lights on with display ads served by Google AdSense. We want to be straight with you about what that means: we never track you ourselves — no analytics profiles, no fingerprinting, no data sales — but Google, like on millions of other websites, may use cookies to measure and personalize the ads it serves. That is the one third party on this site, it is clearly disclosed, and you can opt out of ad personalization at Google Ads Settings or block ads entirely — the games work exactly the same either way. Family-friendly by default

GameMyself is a general-audience site. Our games contain no gore, no gambling mechanics, no chat with strangers, no in-game purchases, and no content we wouldn't put in front of our own families.

If you ever see anything on this site that violates the promises above — a suspicious ad, a popup, anything — tell us at guibiz@proton.me and we will treat it as our highest-priority bug.
