This player submitted climbing game takes place inside a hollow tree. Jump from branch to branch and land on the leafy top branch to escape. Squirrels throw acorns, birds dive at you and the pale cracked branches break under your feet. You have 3 hearts and long falls will cost you. Each escape takes you to the next tree, which is 100 meters taller than the previous tree. The trees change as you make it through each level. Tree themes include oak, maple, pine, cherry and night. Can you climb out of all 5?
Move with A and D or the arrow keys. Jump with W, Up or Space, and hold it longer to go higher. On a phone, put your left thumb down anywhere on the left side and slide it to move, and tap the right side to jump. You can jump up through a branch from below and land on top. To drop through the branch you are on, hold S or push the stick down, then jump. A squirrel, an acorn or a bird will cost you 1 of your 3 hearts. Jump on a squirrel to stun it. A red exclamation mark over a squirrel means it is about to throw. Keep climbing further and birds show up with a red exclamation mark on the side they are coming from. The light-colored branches will break and fall when you land on them so jump to the next branch quick. No need to worry. These branches grow back if you miss the leap.
If you really mess up and start falling down to the beginning, it will not cost you a heart unless the fall is 100 meters or more, and longer falls cost more. A red exclamation mark over your head means the fall is already long enough to hurt. Lose all 3 hearts and you start the same tree over with the branches shuffled. Gems you pick up are kept even if you lose. Land on the top branch to escape, go to the next level and get a gem bonus.
This idea came from ha3hem, who also sent in Keyboard Escape. It was sent in as "Everybody Hates You" and was about being stuck in a tree and having to beat every level to get out. The name needed to change but the idea was great. Instead of being truly random, the layout is a random placement of 22 handmade sections. Every jump in every section was checked to make sure it can be made from a standing start. When I first played it on my phone I kept falling off and could not go left and right reliably, so the stick was rebuilt to follow your thumb. Falls were adjusted to 100 meters because the limit was set too low at first. The start of every tree was made easier so you can learn the game.

The squirrel is the most dangerous enemy in the tree. When it flashes its red exclamation mark, don't stand still. Either jump away or step out of the way as the acorn comes towards you. Jumping on a squirrel stuns it for about 3 seconds. Birds lock onto where you are and dive in a straight line, so a step to the side is usually enough. Don't stop on a pale cracked branch. It holds for about half a second, and breaks even quicker in later trees. Every heart sits on one of these cracked branches, so grab it and keep going. If you already have 3 hearts it stays there for later. Since falls under 100 meters are free, dropping back to a branch you know is often safer than a long blind jump. The photo below shows a squirrel about to throw.
