You're a time traveler sprinting down an endless road trying to beat the clock before you run out of time. The clock power-up transports you to a different time and place – Giza, Troy, London, New York and a futuristic landscape. Quickly switch lanes dodging walls, crates, hazards and enemies. Keep running in an endless battle against the clock. Grab power-ups to help you along the way. Miss the portals and you're out of time.
You are collecting embers to gain points. The clocks are the one item you don't want to miss. You may survive missing 1 clock but it's not guaranteed. Power-ups include a jump that will quickly jump over objects, a flying jump that will keep you elevated for some time, and a speedup that will get things moving quickly and increase your score. There is a shooting power-up that will only blast away the enemies. Arrows appear to indicate where to move once the game gets really fast. You can jump over small barriers. A/D to move, W or Space to jump. Mobile has 3 buttons – Left, Right, and Up to jump. Play to see how fast you can go.
This game was inspired by a player idea that included a lot of detail. I had never heard of this style of game and he included everything from power-ups and areas to travel to. I had to build in the mechanics and bring it to life. Mo stayed in touch by email through the build and we were able to test the game to get it just right before publishing to the site.

The biggest hint I can give for this game is the movement mechanics. Hitting the button to move left or right will register before you see the animation moving. If you are going very fast just remember to hit the key before you hit the object and you will survive. This was done intentionally to make the game fair because previously you would die prematurely. The game rewards skill and reflexes as intended. Another hint is to prioritize clocks over everything else. Power-ups are all optional. While the speed power-up is fun and gives you more points, it may become too fast for you. When in doubt, go for the clock and nothing else.
