DAILY CROSSWORD
The only game so far with a new puzzle every day! The board is refreshed at 4:30 AM EST every day for a new challenge. This is a 7×7 crossword with hints at the bottom and aids to help if you get stuck. This may be easy for some and hard for others. It is a crossword made for anyone and not just a historian or scholar. It uses common ideas and phrases but is still not too easy.
How to play
Write the word that matches the clue either Down or Across. Tap to access the word entry, tap again to move from down to across or vice versa. On PC just start typing or on mobile tap to bring up the keyboard. If 100% accurate at the end of the board you will receive a message saying it is complete. Optional buttons are available. Check to check if the letter in the box is correct. Reveal will reveal the correct letter for the 1 box that you are on. Clear will clear the current box that was selected. Reset will clear the entire board. A message will come up confirming if you want to reset the whole board. The highlighted square will always be the one you are typing on and it will automatically go to the next square once you enter a letter.
Behind the game
This game was created for my burning need for more puzzle and thinking games. It also became the one game that is truly different every single day. I could come back to the site and play a new crossword. This game was made with a custom randomized engine using words that are filtered to keep out inappropriate content and to keep the site safe. This is one game I hope to continue to play and enjoy.
Hints
I have no secret hints on this one. The game is hard for me because I am not the best at coming up with words. This may be a simple puzzle for some people. Don't cheat by looking anything up online. This is meant to be a small challenge. I recommend waiting until you are completely stuck and use the check option to see if 1 letter is wrong in a word you are unsure of. As a last resort use the Reveal button to show 1 letter that will aid you in completing the word.
