APEX RUSH
Speed up, pass the other cars, go over jumps and win 1st place. This is a 3rd person racing game and the first game on the site that looks 3D. It uses custom graphics to scale the horizon and make it appear to have depth. 5 tracks with jumps and wide turns. This game was made with having fun in mind and is not focused on being a hard game.
How to play
On mobile the car goes full speed automatically. The only thing needed is left, right, or brake to slow down. On PC hit W or up to hit the gas. There is a 3 2 1 countdown to green light in the beginning. You are racing down the paved road avoiding the side barriers that can slow you down. This is an easy racing game where you cannot crash by running off the road. You will only lose speed by hitting another car or driving on the grass. 5 tracks total and they are all available. The track ends when you finish 3 laps and you will be placed. Pass cars to gain a placement and hit the jumps for fun. The best time measures the fastest lap in that race.
Behind the game
This was a tough one with a lot of bugs. The car would twitch and not pass other cars. The tracks did not look good. The road cut off and didn't look continuous. A lot of changes went into making this game. A racing game is needed in a portal of games and this one had to be made. Multiple tries at different tracks were tested. Ultimately the game turned into fast-paced and jumps like in the tracks Big Air and Hopscotch.
Hints
Full speed ahead! Braking is not needed in this game. You need to be careful when passing cars and leave enough space to fully pass or end up getting stuck behind someone. The only thing that will slow you down is hitting another car. Driving off the track into the grass will also slow you down. There is no dying or crashing. The game rewards speed and zooming past everyone.
